
IoT project of the year 2024
An annual contest, the IoT project of the year was held for the fourth time in 2024, recognizing the best in telematics and IoT.
Telematics service providers from all over the world and various industries joined the competition for global recognition and valuable prizes. Projects of any fleet size, industry, or complexity level were welcomed, as long as they brought value to a specific client. Whether working with hardware or software, the competition allowed participants to make a statement.
The offline award ceremony took place during the Wialon community reunion in Dubai on October 13th.

About the competition
In 2020, Wialon held IoT project of the year for the first time. The competition stirred great interest among IoT market players and became a major international IoT event. The world's leading media, including Forbes and Business Insider, covered the event and published news about the winners.
In 2024, we hosted the IoT project of the year for the fourth time to celebrate the best projects of the latest season. More than 100 projects, from 45 countries, competed in this year’s awards. Entries included projects from Australia, Brazil, Estonia, Honduras, India, Lebanon, Kenya, Mexico, the Netherlands, Nigeria, South Africa, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uruguay, USA and many others.

The top 12 projects received the winner's awards during the Wialon community reunion in Dubai on October 13th.
Four projects scoring the highest points received the Grand Prix in their respective categories.

Grand Prix
Four applicants scoring the highest points in their respective categories received the following opportunity in 2025: participation in an IoT zone of their choice free of charge, or up to $2000 in travel expenses coverage for one company representative to visit any Wialon event.
